Creating positive change
When: 09 September 2010 at 09:30
Where: MTL Training CentreChange in a necessary part of working life. However, many organisations and individuals face multi-faceted challenges with "change" and the change process from erosion of confidence in staff, high stress levels, and change fatigue. Whilst change may appear to have been accepted on a surface level, difficulties arise primarily from a subconscious resistance to change.
If change is accepted purely at an intellectual level, one can expect subconscious - and possible conscious - resistance to the actions required to implement change. Operating at the level of the low self [the ego], this
brings forth self doubt, worry, and irrational fears.
This session explores the ways that you can develop the self awareness to recognise the positive or negative influence of your own thinking, which will enable you to inspire more positive responses to change.
Audience: Leaders, Managers, Supervisors, Team leaders who would like to develop their leadership and management skillsOutcomes: Confidence from knowing how to assimilate the need for change and what that means for your team. How to build resilience and passion within the team, and a tool kit for dealing with change in a positive and empowering way.
