How NOT to do it...films by Making the Link

How often when we are told how NOT to do something, do we truly learn what TO DO instead?

Psycologists may argue that a negative command is more likely to lead to a negative behaviour, we can see this clearly  in children when we say, "DON'T SPILL THAT", inevitably the drink is spilled.

Replacing the command with a positive one such as "Try to keep all the water in the cup" can definately lead to better results. This can have huge implications when we consider management and leadership styles, and this is truly fascinating and can have a huge return on a very small investment for small, meduim and large businesses alike.

The MTL series of How NOT to do it films (available here on You Tube) is to aid real learning and is supported by a comprehensive suite of training courses available to anyone. Courses on; Business development, Negotiation skills, Positive people management, Coaching for performance, Authentic leadership, Creative thinking, Team working skills, Making meetings work, Intelligent use of Social media, Emotional intelligence, and many more...  Book here: MTL Courses
