Inspirational talk from Dr Ed Coats- A Conference with a difference
I have just returned from a client conference where, at Making the Link's invitation, Dr Ed Coats (of the BBC's On Thin Ice) gave an inspiring and motivational presentation to an audience of 90. His key message, illustrated with anecdotes from his Antarctic adventures, was the importance of trust, commitment, respect and teamwork, and how these four values can lead to excellence in a team. The positive feedback suggests that he was indeed an inspiration to the staff who attended, and I shall certainly endeavour to live those values during my own forthcoming adventures - equatorial, not polar! - less than 6 weeks to go until I tackle Kinabalu! Check out the film of the conference at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lWYr7Z4ot5A
