Training for performance
Well, my training for the Kinabalu challenge is going brilliantly, I have been swimming a mile every morning (64 lengths of the local pool) and running 10km between 2 and 3 times a week- the weight is dropping off as long as I can stay of the Snickers and junk food!!
Tonight I'm off to Snowdonia to get some more mountains walked and scrambled before January is upon us! The weather is set against us so will be taking the wet weather gear, and leaving the climbing ropes at home!
A huge thank you to those who have made online donations at www.justgiving.com/makingthelink and I'll be posting some more You Tube videos to keep you posted on training, organising, and the trip itself!
See www.makingthelink.co.uk/not-for-profit for more details on the challenge!
All the best
